Date: Monday, April 16
Place: West Jordan Middle School, 7550 Redwood Road
Time: Rehearsal starts at 4:00, dinner break from 6:15-6:45, concert starts at 7:00
Dress: White shirts, black pants or skirts (students can bring clothes to change into during the dinner break, or wear their concert dress the whole time)
At this concert, every student will be on stage at the same time for the whole concert. That's why we have a long rehearsal right before the concert, we need to put together all of the songs. We'll be playing 8 songs at this concert, and the first time we play them together will be at the rehearsal that day! It's a long rehearsal for a relatively short concert, but it's fun to have all of the kids performing on stage at the same time.
For the dinner break we will stay at the high school and eat in the cafeteria. Students need to bring a sack lunch, and parents are welcome to come and eat with them. Every year, I've also collected money from anyone who just wants to go in on some pizzas.This is not required, it's up to you if you want to go in on pizza or have your student bring a dinner from home. If you want to chip in for pizza please let me know and have the money to me by Friday this week. $2-3 is all I ask to go in on pizza.
